Registration
It’s likely entries will close one week before the event. Of course we may have to close entries prior to this if the event reaches capacity. With this in mind we would highly recommend not leaving it until the final few weeks. The deadline to have your name featured on your bib number is Monday 14th October.
No entries will be available on the day of the race.
You must be at least 15yrs old by race day.
The first batch of bib numbers will be posted w/c Monday 21st October via 2nd class mail.
Late entries will be posted via 1st class mail.
If the event has not reached capacity, entries in the final week prior to race day will be able to collect their bib number on race morning.
Please email us and let us know.
We will arrange a replacement that you can collect from the help desk on race day.
The deadline for deferrals or transfers is 5 weeks before the event (Sunday 13th Oct).
Race Day
The closest car park to the start finish is located at Regency Square, BN1 2FG. (Please note – this is an expensive carpark priced at £4 per hour).
There are alternative carparks located at:
Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BE (£1.50 p/h)
King Alfred, Hove, BN3 2WW (£1.50 p/h)
These are both 1 mile from the start/finish
Both Brighton, and Hove train stations are located 1.3 miles from the start/finish.
Yes, there will be barriers adjacent to the baggage facility where you can leave your bike for the duration of the race. Please ensure you bring your own lock to secure your bike to the barriers.
The race starts on Hove Promenade, about 500m west of the i360.

Yes, there will be a baggage marquee located adjacent to the start/finish.
We’re afraid not, for course safety reasons our England Athletics race licence does not permit racing wheelchairs, pushchairs or buggies.
The use of standard headphones is not permitted.
This is due to our race licence regulations. Course safety is our priority and runners should be aware of their surroundings at all times, being able to respond to marshal instructions.
Bone conductor headphones are permitted.
Absolutely, if your costume is really extreme please email us and let us know.
Our traffic management team prepare to open the roads based on a 90min running time.
If you fall behind this schedule, you will still be able to complete the event but will be requested to move to the pavement.
We ensure everyone at the back of the race is fully supported.
Yes, there will be a team of pacemakers at 40mins, 45mins, 50mins, 55mins, 60mins.
The pacemakers are requested to run even splits for each km.
Yes, there will be large signs at each km point.
Yes, there will be several toilets located adjacent to the start/finish.
There are also public toilets located along the promenade.
Yes, there are public toilets located on the course at the 4.5km & 6.5km marks.
